A journey of sonic liberation.
Ponderous bass lines, non linear, no rules, punk avantgard percussion, mutated field recordings, damaged voices,
rythm section refusing the standard sustains, nano trance infiltrating soundscapes of unknown matter.
No need to fit under a genre but for the genre needed ones: Alternative, experimental with influences of avantgarde jazz, progresieve rock, jazzrock and punkjazz.

Composed the music for theater compagnie Cecilia project Seur Sourrire 2008-2009

Lazara Rosell Albear (cu/be)
Born in Havana, Cuba, Living in Ghent, Belgium since 1992. Dancer & Choreographer, Filmmaker, Drumster, Poet.
Master in Audiovisual Art (K.A.S.K) Ghent 2000
Worked in projects of productionhouses Victoria and Het Muziek Lod. From 1997 to 2009 she performs in  drie projects with Les Ballets C. de la B. directed by Alain Platel (Iets op Bach '97-2000), Koen Augustijnen (Import-Export 2007-2008) and Lisi Estars (Boler0-2009). 2001 birth of the crossmedia organization MahaWorks together with musician/composer Eli Van de Vondel (CiCliC Records).  Recently she worked with theater director Xavier Lukomsky as a drumster/performer in the piece Planete' performing in 2008 and 2010 @ Theatre Les Tanneurs, Brussels.
Lazara started to drum 10 years ago with lessons from Stephane Galland, Maxime Lenssens, Giovanni Barcella, Eric Thielemans and Marek Patrman (most probably and unconciously she started to drum already in Cuba) and is currently performing as a drumster in her projects together with Pak Yan Lau and Luanda Casella (Dark Speeches), Baudouin Dejaer and Bram Stadshouder (Pek Druppel #23), Antoine Prawerman and Jan Pillaert (MIKKELUNGE) and with Mirko Banovic (SMALL METAL GODS). Lazara has also worked with Art Cinema OFFoff, El Negocito, Isnelle da Silveira, Dirk Verstockt, Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker, DJ Grazzhoppa, Alda Snopek, Ontroerende Goed, dEUS clips, Maxime Lenssens, Absynthe Minded clip 'Envoi'.

TAGMOSIS is a two-day event which aims for a convergence between different media and artforms; this in a mutual 'silent' interactive way. Nontheless, 'symbiosis' as a prearranged evocation is not an intention. Rather the circumstances and the manner how cross-actions are presented should evoke an inner and personal experience.
A kind of melting together as after-effects on the retina of the beholder, this by undergoing the serial and parallel collisions of everything what happened.

TAGMOSIS is the growing together or fusion between different parts of a body to form a new whole. Every part beholds its function but are fused together to a common form. These can be partial or global and it's particularly common with insects, where for instance the head and torso have become a whole.

The TAGMOSIS in this festival is a virtual one. The audience creates this inner tagmosis because of the way the different artforms are presented, the circumstances of the events and the consequent readjust and switch-over from one expression to the other.

TAGMOSIS is a meeting of peculiar artists and organizations. A continuous flow of showings: dance, theater, performances, experimental concerts and movie screenings.

We could be saying that it is a multi festival where the functions and focal points are constantly changing inside a short timespan.
